The Automatic Paper Bowl Machine is a fully automatic one-time paper container forming equipment. Deep Bowl Forming for Foodservice Packaging

The Automatic Paper Bowl Machine is designed for high-volume production of disposable paper bowls used for soups, noodles, hot pot dishes, takeaway meals and other foodservice applications. Compared with standard paper cup forming equipment, its deeper forming cavity and reinforced sealing structure are better suited to larger-capacity containers and liquid or oily foods.

Paper feeding, side-wall forming, sealing, bottom forming, edge rolling, counting and stacking are completed within one continuous process, reducing manual handling during production.

Strong Bottom Sealing for Liquid Foods

A reinforced bottom-forming process combines heating and embossing to create a dense connection between the bowl body and bottom paper. This structure helps reduce leakage when the finished bowl is filled with soup, sauces or hot and oily foods.

The multi-stage edge rolling process also creates a thicker, rounded rim, improving the overall rigidity of the bowl while making it more comfortable to hold.

Stable Side-Wall Sealing

Depending on the paper material and production requirements, side-wall sealing can use hot-air heat sealing or ultrasonic sealing. Temperature and sealing parameters can be adjusted precisely to achieve reliable bonding without burning through the laminated layer.

The wider sealing area provides additional stability for applications involving hot food, liquids and heavier contents.

Flexible Paper Material & Bowl Sizes

The equipment can work with single-side PE coated paper, double-side PE coated paper and fully degradable coated paper. Different forming molds allow one production setup to cover multiple bowl capacities, generally from 6 oz to 35 oz.

This flexibility makes it possible to produce different formats such as snack bowls, instant noodle bowls, soup containers and hot pot bowls without investing in a separate machine for every size.

Automated Production & Quality Control

PLC control coordinates paper feeding, heating, forming and turntable movement, while production parameters can be stored for different bowl specifications. Changing production mainly requires the corresponding mold and parameter adjustment.

Paper shortage, material jamming and abnormal temperature conditions can trigger automatic alarms and machine stoppage. This helps prevent equipment damage and limits defective production during long operating cycles.

Hygienic Production for Catering Applications

Food-contact sections can be manufactured with 304 stainless steel, while the enclosed structure helps protect the forming area from dust and debris. Compared with semi-automatic production, the automated process reduces direct operator contact with paper materials and finished bowls.

For higher hygiene requirements, the output can be connected with UV disinfection and automatic packing equipment, creating a continuous workflow from bowl forming to final packaging.
