Our Automatic Blister Bag Packing Machine Line combines blister forming, pharmaceutical foil sealing, blister plate transfer and pillow bag packaging into one continuous packaging system. Instead of transferring blister packs between separate machines, the line automatically conveys qualified blister cards to the outer-bag packaging section, helping reduce manual handling and improve packaging consistency.
The line adds a secondary pillow bag around the blister pack after the primary blister packaging process.
This gives the production line two packaging stages:
PVC/PVDC or other suitable forming material is heated and formed into cavities. Tablets or capsules are fed into the cavities, medicinal aluminum foil is sealed over the formed web, and the finished blister cards are punched and transferred.
The qualified blister cards are automatically conveyed to the pillow packing section, inserted into the packaging film, longitudinally sealed, cross-sealed and cut into individual outer bags.
The result is a continuous:
Blister Forming → Filling → Foil Sealing → Inspection → Punching → Transfer → Pillow Wrapping → Finished Pack
After blister formation, the cards enter the outer-bag packaging section.
The pillow wrapper automatically performs:
Film unwinding → film forming → blister insertion → longitudinal sealing → transverse sealing → cutting → finished bag discharge
The outer bag can provide an additional barrier against dust, moisture and handling contamination, depending on the selected film structure.
For products requiring additional protection from light, suitable aluminum-based or light-blocking packaging films can be considered.
The blister machine, transfer system and pillow packing section are coordinated through a centralized PLC and touchscreen control system.
