A single sachet wet wipe has different packaging requirements from multi-piece wet wipe packs. The wipe must be accurately folded, evenly wetted and completely enclosed in a compact package, while the sealing area needs to remain clean enough to produce a reliable seal.The KEDE Automatic Single Sachet Wet Wipe Machine is designed around this single-piece process.

The roll of nonwoven fabric or wet-strength paper is unwound and folded to the required size. Liquid is added before the individual sheet is cut and transferred into the packaging section. The film is then formed around the wipe and heat-sealed to produce the finished sachet.

Folding and Liquid Filling

Different wipes require different folding layouts.

The machine can be configured for W-fold, Z-fold and other customized folding arrangements, with up to 10 vertical folds and 4 horizontal folds depending on the model and product requirements.

Liquid filling is also selected according to the wipe and application. The supplied specifications cover filling ranges from 0–5 ml for the KDP250 wet wipe configuration, while other configurations are available for higher-volume essence filling.

For alcohol, disinfectant, cosmetic or moisturizing liquids, the liquid-contact components can be configured using suitable materials. Where flammable liquids are involved, the electrical and liquid-handling configuration should be confirmed with KEDE before ordering.
